First off, thank you for picking up a Where the River Meets keychain at Voyageur Days 2026.

I was incredibly honoured to be invited to open Country Night this year, and writing this song for the festival felt like a really fun way to celebrate a place that means so much to me.

​

Where the River Meets was written for the weekend — the music, the bonfires, the late summer nights, the people who travel home, and the feeling that somehow everyone ends up in Mattawa when it matters.

One important note: what you’re downloading is a demo version only.

That means this is not a final studio recording. It is an early version of the song — closer to where it first began. A little rough around the edges, perhaps, but honest. I wanted the people who were here for this moment to have the chance to hear it first.
